  • If I would like to cancel my tour would I get a refund?

    Bookings that are cancelled more than 48 hours in advance are eligible to a 70% refund. Bookings cancelled with less than 48 hours will not be refunded. However, If you would like to reschedule your booking this can be done up to 24 hours in advance, but can not be rescheduled on the day.   • What happens if it rains?

    We operate our tours in all weathers and encourage our customers to dress for the Great British weather due to the nature of our outdoor activities. If the weather is deemed unsafe to operate then we would be happy to reschedule your booking or issue a full refund. We will contact you if this is the case.

  • Are you open all year round?

    We operate our tours all year round but if you have a date in mind that you would like to confirm a booking for please contact us either on 01223778558 or at [email protected].

  • Are your tours appropriate for all ages?

    All of our tours are absolutely safe for all ages. There is no minimum or maximum age, however its good to bear in mind that the walking tour does last for 90 minutes which can be tiring for little legs. We do advise that under 16’s are accompanied by an adult. If you have a baby under the age of one then you will not need to purchase a ticket for your baby. Anyone over the age of one will need a ticket to join one of our tours.

  • What about if I have any bags, strollers, or prams with me on the day?

    Punting Tours – Belongings can be left for safekeeping at our check-in desk or loaded onto the punt if there is enough space.

    Walking Tours – You will need to take everything with you during the tour, there is no place to leave any belongings.

  • What about if I'm running late for my tour?

    If you are running late on the day please be aware that it will result in a missed tour. Allow plenty of time before your tour begins, especially if you are parking in the city as traffic can be heavy in the centre.

  • How fit do I need to be to go on one of your tours?

    Punting Tours – You simply need to be able to sit down and get back up again. Our punt chauffeurs are able bodied men who will be able to help you board the boat and disembark safely.

    Walking Tour – You will need to be able to walk for 90 minutes, the pace is not fast but you will be walking for the entire time.

  • I am a wheelchair user, can I still join one of your tours?

    Punting Tours – We do not have wheelchair access directly onto a punt but our team can assist in the boarding of passengers who need help.

    Walking Tours – You are more than welcome to join one of our walking tours is you are a wheelchair user. Please bear in mind that some of the paths are cobbled and small in size.

  • What about if I have COVID-19 symptoms?

    If you or anyone in your household has COVID-19 symptoms or tests positive for COVID-19 do not join a Stride Walking or Punting tour. Instead contact the office ASAP to arrange a reschedule, credit note or refund. Ensure you have made contact with the office by 9 am on the day of your tour to be eligible for a refund.
