Are you looking for the newest and sweetest place in town? Somewhere that is just a stone’s throw from our walking tour starting location? Well, look no further… Dulcis Cambridge has landed.

The sweet treats at Dulcis are a delight not only for the eyes but seriously a real indulgence for your taste buds.

Dulcis’ vision is to give its customers the opportunity to buy high-quality Gelato and Pasticcini made using 100% natural ingredients created by their artisan bakers.

Quite often it is hard to find authentic Italian sweet treats that cater for dietary requirements, however, Dulcis have exceeded any expectation.

Currently, Dulcis have 15 gelato options, 7 vegan options and 5 new autumn flavours, including Ricotta with Lemon and Cinnamon, Fudgy Mascarpone and Chocolate Drops, and Pistacchio Stracciatella.

Their Pasticcino selection includes 9 vegan options and 11 gluten-free options.

Cake options (pre-order at least 3 days before) include Chantilly and Pistachio, Ricotta, Pistachio and Raspberry, and Mango and Passionfruit.

We were lucky enough to go and try it out for ourselves, we tried a variety of flavours including some incredible combinations;  Gianduia Gelato and Cannolo Cioccolato; Vegan Pistachio Gelato and Choco Mou Cup; Vegan Raspberry Gelato and Pistachio and Raspberry Tart.

If you’re only in Cambridge for the day and are desperate to take a little slice of heaven back with you, then don’t worry. Dulcis offer 1kg tubs of their gelato.

For those of you lucky enough to try Dulcis, you will see what we mean. But for those of you too far away (I mean there is no other valid excuse) just think of it as a Ludovico Einaudi orchestra of flavours erupting one crescendo at a time. Next time you in Cambridge seriously try it out.
